Tri-Choice offers 1.5 percent, 2.5 percent, and 3.85 percent dextrose monohydrate within a single bag. This helps clinicians adjust the final solution based on patient needs.
Peritoneal Dialysis works by creating an osmotic gradient across the peritoneal membrane through dextrose. The dextrose in the CAPD solution makes it hyperosmolar to plasma, which supports the transfer of toxic substances and metabolites from blood into the dialysate.
